Reducing or eliminating joints, curl and cracks
Green Umbrella Fiber
All Green Umbrella Fibers are designed to cut labor, down time and environmental impact. Compared to introducing wire mesh and rebar into the mixer with the concrete. Time and labor spent welding, tying and supporting wire mesh and rebar is reduced if not eliminated.
Isotropic reinforcement means the concrete is being held together not simply in the top, middle or bottom of the slab, but everywhere. Imagine millions of tiny pieces of reinforcing bar spread throughout the entire slab.
Fibers make it possible to control plastic cracking and other imperfections in the slab. For concrete flooring, it gives a natural, consistent look. Green Umbrella fibers are invisible, they do not protrude, even when specified for a honed or polished floor.
