Green Umbrella® Color Defense System™ wins a high-performance architectural concrete floor with products designed to protect color. Created for owners and design professionals who have experienced the failure of colorants that fade. A system for the success of interior nano-dyed polished architectural concrete floors @MatureAge™. Using a GreenCut Abrasives System™ that includes a surface refinement cutting agent, GreenCut™. Profiled with PowerTrowels or Grinders with production rates that seem unfair compared to the competition — processed using wet abrasives BigStock™, GC-X™, Eraser™, and Polish-Plus™ – to create a superior mechanical surface that provides a physical defense with any specified class of profile or glass chosen. The Color Defense System that covers the field with DryShield™, our highly abrasion resistant flagship densifier that fills the concrete void. Following with Shield & Enhance™, a concrete colorant that prevents oxidation of the dye at the surface by cross-linking to the treatments in the system, far superior to UV inhibitors — additionally adding salt with superior stain protection — then finishing the defense with Interior Microfilm™, a repairable wear-guard that brings clarity to the profile. Color Defense promotes bonding and cross-linking within the concrete without the negative side-effect of ASR or topical de-lamination found with other products. Maintain with GreenClean™, a LifeCycle™ cleaner with densifier built in that keeps the color in and drives contaminants out. This is the team that plays together.

Process, Equipment, & Abrasives

Green Umbrella equipment and abrasives are designed specifically for wet profiling. Equipped with a standard quick change system to promote even abrasive wear and quick field changes, cutting downtime on PHP projects.

The wet process eliminates airborne crystalline silica dust and its potential health hazards, such as silicosis due to inhaling these dangerous airborne particulates, and improves indoor air quality. Propane is one of the cleanest burning fossil fuels, cutting emissions and leaving a smaller carbon footprint than a typical electric model.

GC-X™ abrasives are powerful 10-segment metal abrasives designed for use with Green Umbrella® GreenCut®. Optional.

Designed for use within Green Umbrella® Base Defense™, Max Defense™, and other profile systems, our GC-PolishPlus™ abrasives finish off the process to achieve the desired surface sheen.

DryShield™ is a formulated concrete hardener and densifier that cuts environmental impact. Reaching deep into the subsurface, DryShield creates more than a conventional shell surface.

Interior MicroFilm™ is an R.T.U. repairable impregnating micro-treatment for abrasively profiled architectural concrete floors.
