The next generation of reinforcement

Green Umbrella & Durafore

Green Umbrella™ Durafore mechanically locks within the fresh concrete martrix, controlling plastic shrinkage benefiting any concrete mix.  Durafore helps with secondary reinforcement, playing a key role in the elimination of crack formation, cracks that cause permanent weakening of the resultant concrete.  With Durafore, concrete is less permeable, has a smooth surface, is highly impact resistant and by eliminating costly materials and installation costs, improves your bottom line.

Durafore can be combined with wire mesh to reduce plastic cracking. Durafore displaces evenly within all mixes. It does not clump or protrude, is transparent in the mix, meaning it will not affect the final look of all Architectural concrete – including polished or dyed concrete.

Cut Your Labor

Reinforcement in the mix.

Durafore™ works within the mix to create a stronger surface that reduces, even eliminates plastic shrinkage.

Cut Your Downtime

Repair time dramatically reduced.

The time spent returning to cracks for repair is dramatically reduced/eliminated. After the pour and finish, a project moves forward without needing to set aside time for repairing plastic cracking.

Cut Your Environmental Impact

Materials reduced.

Concrete is not cut out and replaced due to plastic cracks. The original pour and finish are increasingly successful, eliminating costly repairs, downtime and waste.

Compression Tests of Concrete Cylinders

The isotropic reinforcement means fiber reinforced concrete is stronger from top to bottom.
